Here are some of the standard questions we receive from guests who inquire about the Macatawa Cottage.
-How Close is the Beach to the House?
The Macatawa Cottage is only a couple of houses back from the water. However, it is situated on a dune so that it still allows for water views.
-What time is check in and check out?
Our rentals run from Saturday to Saturday with a check in time of 1:00 p.m. and a check out time of 9:00a.m. These are pretty strict due to the need of time to clean the cottage for the next renter.
-What else do I need to bring?
The cottage comes fully equiped with all the linens (including beach towels) in addition to a well appointed kitchen. There is a grocery store a few miles away in Holland that will have any other items you may need.
-How many people can the cottage sleep?
The Macatawa Cottage has 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The master bedroom has a king size bed. The second bedroom has a king size bed as well. The third bedroom has twin beds and the fourth bedroom has bunk beds.
-What should I do about parking? I've heard it's really tough there.
While this is a problem for most in Macatawa, we are fortunate enough to have sufficient parking for four cars. The cottage has a dedicated parking area reserved specifically for the guests of the Macatawa Cottage.
